How do I file a complaint against Delta Airlines?

My daughter flew from LAX to J.F.K., however, her plane had to circle for 45 minutes before landing, which caused her to miss her next flight to Rome. She was scheduled on Grecian Cruise and was suppose to get on the ship at Venice - they missed the ship because the mix-up in the flights and her luggage was never rerouted. She missed two stops of her cruise and was without luggage for the entire time. On the way back in Venice they found their luggage in the unclaimed luggage dept. When she called the airport in Venice they said they did not have her luggage. How does she get reimbursed for her miserable trip. Also she flew 1st Class. Help!!!!

  2. do you know how easy you have it now than in the past... people had to walk hundreds of miles in months and now you can go around the WHOLE world in less than 10 hours (one hour at the max)
  3. Make a complaint to Delta either on their website or through mail. Some of those email forms have limits on how many words you can use, so in that case, definitely mail!!! If you're still unsatisfied, look into the travel section of your newspaper, mine has a column that acts on behalf of people who have bad situations while travelling.
  4. you are suppose to allow at least 3 HOURS between connections apparently this didn't happen so its not the airline fault. its yours when you arrived in Venice did you file a claim BEFORE you left the Venice airport with Delta (or what ever airline you flew on)? if not again its not the airline fault if you failed to file a lost luggage..
  5. Have you spoken to management if you have I would call them back and tell them you will place a full page news paper add on your daughters treatment and you will all so call the local new station and even threaten with a lawer. Be prepared to tell Delta what you expect of them.
