How Long To Get From Delta JFK Domestic to Delta JFK International Terminal?
I just received an email that an International flight which was scheduled to leave at 7:20 pm was rescheudled to now leave at 4:20 pm...my flight from San Francisco arrives at 3:07 pm which does not leave me a heck of a lot of time to make it over to the International Terminal. Both flights are with Delta...so...will the International flight out of NY know that I am arriving from SF on another Delta flight when I've checked in at SFO? Because both tickets have already been purchased, I can not make any changes without huge penalties. Welcome to the new age of travel! Any suggestions and assistance is most welcome!

- Since both flights are with Delta and you'll have already checked in at SFO, the gate attendants will know that you're on the international flight. They won't hold it for you, if that's what you're asking, but they will know that you've purchased a ticket and that you haven't boarded the plane yet. On this site, I read that JFK replaced its slow, inter-terminal buses with a light-rail transit system, so that will work to your advantage. http://www.airportterminalmaps.com/JFK-terminal-map.html As soon as your plane lands, check on one of the flight status boards for the gate/terminal number of your international flight and RUN. If people get in your way, just say "excuse me" and push past them - hey, you've got a flight to catch and it's a busy airport.
