Delta Fares

I want to fly Delta AirLines to Orlando in November?

My dad and I might go to Florida for vacation in November. I'm trying to get my father to book a couple flights on Delta. I've heard good things about them, and I heard they have wonderfull costumer service. Have you ever flwon Delta before? Have you ever been bumpd off a Delta flight? How would you rate their customer service? What food/drink did they serve on the plane, and did you have to pay for food on the plane? How were the flight-attendants? And where did you fly to and from on Delta?

  1. Delta is average. I have flown with them to and from Seattle out of Cincinnati. I have also flown Delta from Cincinnati to Atlanta; Fayetteville, Arkansas; Boston, New York, San Francisco, Toronto, Montreal, Detroit, Raleigh/Durham, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth and will be using them to fly to Los Angeles and then onto Kauai. The service is hit-or-miss. Some flight attendants are nicer and will go out of their way to help you while others are just rude. So far I have not been bumped off a Delta flight but the airline does overbook so do not be late in showing up for your flight or your seat can be given to someone else. Customer Service is fine though the airline has changed my flight itinerary by canceling a flight and booking me on another one without telling me. The airline does serve your complimentary juices, water, coffee, tea and soda and has an assortment of crackers or cookies. You do not get a free meal unless you are flying across the Atlantic or Pacific. However they do sell sandwiches. My recommendation is that you bring your own food or buy something before you board the airplane. The food probably isn't too bad but it is expensive.
  2. I actually just came back to NY from Orlando on Delta yesterday! Where would you be flying from? If it's from NYC, the flight is pretty no frills. No meals for sale so you have to get your food in the terminal and bring it on board (or pack a sandwich or something). On the other hand, I've also flown Delta to Los Angeles and Aruba this year and those flights are much better. They at least sell you a meal and the flights to Los Angeles have indicidual TVs on each seat. Drinks (soda/juice) are free and those reeeeeeeeally good Biscoff cookies are also free. Another cool thing is WI-FI! I used the wi-fi service ($10) and was able to use my laptop. The silly thing though is that there are no outlets. My laptop battery only lasts an hour and a half. Flight attendants can vary. Most of them are great but of course you come across an idiot every so often. And, no, I've never been bumped off of a flight. In addition, the seats seem to have more leg room than American Airlines. I'm not sure what airlines you typically fly, but American has the least amount of space that I've ever come across.
  3. I DONT CARE WHAT AIRLINE I FLY WITH I BUY TICKETS BASED ON PRICE AND SCHEDULE THEY HAVE I FLOWN ON DELTA FROM LAX TO MEXICO SERVICE WAS GOOD... GOOD LUCK
  4. Have you ever flown Delta before? Yep they are awesome! Have you ever been bumped off a Delta flight? Nope! How would you rate their customer service? 4/5 stars What food/drink did they serve on the plane, and did you have to pay for food on the plane? They serve alcohol in first class, coffee, soft drinks, and milk. How were the flight-attendants? They are really nice, especially to kids. And where did you fly to and from on Delta? I flew to Maui,HI, and to San Juan in Puerto Rico, all from Lexington,KY,
