Is it possible to get a refund for Delta airline tickets?

I bought the tickets using Delta Sky Miles only, and it is for a trip several months from now. Does anyone know if they are refundable in any way (cash or credit or miles)? Or if I can find that out somewhere.

1. I think only if you got the travel insurance. It depends on your situation. Why are you canceling? Death in the family? Call Delta skymiles customer service: 800-323-2323 Tell them your story and see what they are willing to do.
2. It is definately not cash refundable. Whether you can get miles back will depend on the class of the ticket and sometimes the cause. There is most likely a re-bank fee.
3. Why dont you call the airline? They would know the answer to this question better than anyone else.
4. Yes, you can re-deposit those miles. If NOT I suggest to just call DL/Skymiles reservations (please call!) and tell them you will not be using the ticket for now. And you will have ONE year from the ORIGINAL issue date to re-route/re-issue the same ticket (the same rewards miles)
