(going from Texas to Vienna in October)

- avoid delta luftansa all the way
- Luftansa is my fav :] the others have like extra chargings and stuff :/
- Any airline that is not American is fine.
- I'm not sure about United or Delta, but I'd say go with Lufthansa... They are good - and their prices aren't too bad.
- If you're in Dallas, go with American. If you're in Houston, go with Continental. Direct flights are the best. Saves you time and hassle. Out of United, Delta and Lufthansa, the obvious choice would be Lufthansa. International airlines fare much better than American ones. Americans have no idea about giving good airline service.
- Lufthansa is far better than United, or delta. Airports to avoid? Baghdad is high on my list..
- Go Lufthansa to Vienna no airports to avoid. Have a great flight.
- Take Lufthansa, and avoid O'Hare, as it tend to have lots of delays and /or cancelations, sometimes in the last minute. Delta canceled my flight from O'hare in the after 3 hours of delays, which caused me to miss my connecting flight to Europe. United has the worst service.
- United and Lufthansa are most likely going to be code-shared, that means they have different flight numbers but use the same aircraft. So whether you book United or Lufthansa will probably not make a difference. You'll probably end up in a Lufthansa plane for the flight over the Atlantic. I like Lufthansa. You'll probably fly in a relatively new Airbus A340 from Texas. I've only flown Delta across the Atlantic once (and back), and that was in a brand-new Boeing 777, but it was Newark-Frankfurt. I don't know if the 777 has the range to make it non-stop to Texas.
- Avoid O'Hare Airport in Chicago. Too many suitcases go missing there. Flights get delayed more often in Atlanta than any other airport that I know of. Enjoy your trip.
- All are ok which ever one you van get a good price and a good flight schedule.
