Which airline is better Continental Airlines or Delta Airlines?

I was just wondering about the quality of the flights like the plane and the service.

1. They are both two good US based airlines. I have used both of them and really can't say that they are so different. Is it any specific area you are wondering about?
2. I've flown on both and I prefer Continental. Delta makes me a little tentative because I remember the early years. Also Continental is a little easier to deal with on early/late returns. Delta cust. service, has improved, but I haven't flown Delta since before 9/11 so I have no idea about recent boarding and inflight service procedures. Have a great trip.
3. Personally I like Delta but really there is not much of a difference between the 2, except I have found that when I fly, Delta is usually cheaper. Also the Safety video that Delta shows before takeoff is nice and creepy looking.
4. I don't find them different as far as service, destinations, and airplanes. But I do prefer Delta's frequent flyer program, so I fly Delta if I have a choice.
5. Continental has newer airplanes and from where I live, almost everywhere I go is nonstop.
6. delta because they have personal tv's but i perfer continental because they offer free food and better service
7. I would say there is not much difference between the 2 airlines especially if the flight is short. Continental is the only US airline that still serves a full meal a flights longer than 4 or 5 hours. I think Continental has a lower complaint rate than Delta and won the airline award for best legacy carrier in the United States.
