Is Delta a good airline for flying all the way across the world?
I want to go to Ireland, and I'm having a REALLY hard time deciding on which airline i should go on. Considering if it has food/your own personal TV or just comfy in economy so you can sleep. Is Delta a good choice or is there a better one?

- I generally recommend non US airlines as more comfortable than US ones. However Delta has had personal TVs on the past couple of domestic US flights I've taken with them, so it's a good bed they'd have them on intl flights as well. In general I'd go with whatever is the cheapest fare you can find--paying $200 for a TV doesn't make much sense...
- Delta is all right to travel with though I would also consider Aer Lingus. I would check-out price and departure/arrival times to see what airline gives a more convenient flight time. If you have a frequent flier account with an airline, then I would be more inclined to use that airline. Delta does partner with a number of other carriers so if you have a frequent flier account, see if that airline partners with Delta so you can get credit for this trip.
- every airline has food across the Atlantic! United considered charging for it a while back, but dropped the idea... Yes, I like the Aer Lingus idea--why not get a taste of Ireland on your way there, already?
- I always fly delta and they are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
