Delta Fares

Help me with this please?

I have to book for 5 people to travel to Phoenix. Delta have an airfare for $420 per passenger leaving from JFK while Continental have a fare for $374 per passenger leaving from Newark. We live in NYC, which one do you think is better for us? Thanks

  1. find out how much NJ transit is from penn station to newark. i think its like 15$ roundtrip so it probably is only a few dollar difference in the end. unless you are planning on parking you car in JFK. figure out all the expenses for both airports :-)
  2. I LOVE DELTA!!! They are always on your side. I would go to the closest and pay the fare. It will cost gas or taxi fare and plain old aggravation per person to go further to catch a flight that at first was cheaper. Be careful.
  3. Easy, make the math and the difference plus the logistics of travelling to EWR or JFK! I prefer DL, but it is up to you! Actually LGA, is even cheaper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4. Professor, call the New York Port Authority and see what the charge is for bus 107 from the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York to Newark Airport. For $46 difference in fare, work out the best flight logistically. You can take a cab to the PA terminal from your home. This bus used to cost $1.50 back in the 1970's. Probably $10 or $15 now. Regards, Dan
  5. which airport do you think will give you a minimal hassle? its a difference of 46 dollars. travel time from your place to JFK or newark? traffic?
