How much are the airline fare to Australia during August '09?

I'm going to Australia in August , and I was wondering what is the lowest airfare to Australia. It doesn't matter Delta or American Airlines , but I need the lowest posible.

2. Depends on where you fly from and where to. Try the travel agents or searh on line the airlines.
3. American Airlines and Delta Airlines dont fly to Australia! You only have 4 options unless you go through asia (which is more expensive). You can: Fly Qantas (from LAX, SFO or JFK) Fly United (from LAX) Fly V Australia (from LAX, a new airline) Or you can fly to Honolulu with any airline, and then connect to a Jetstar flight. Jetstar is a budget airline based here in Australia and it is ran by Qantas. It is not as comfortable as the other airlines in terms of leg room, and meals and entertainment come at a cost; but these guys are definitley cheaper. Here are the fares assuming you are flying from LA to Sydney (except for Jetstar) departing on August 1 and returning August 15 Qantas: $1114 USD including all taxes and charges. United: $1415.10 USD including all taxes and charges V Australia: $1482 USD including all taxes and charges Jetstar (from Honolulu): $976 USD including all taxes and charges + CONNECTING FLIGHT FROM LOS ANGELES. Qantas may work out to be the cheapest. All prices I got were from the airline websites.
