Delta Fares

Delta and Northwest are getting together. What do you think is a good name for the new combined airline?

Competition, there you go out the window! Or will airlines start getting merger fever? Anyway, I vote for 'Northelta' or 'Deltest', but what do I know from airlines? Such a scary concept might as well be called 'North By Northwest'.

1. The airline will fly the Delta flag. But I really like Deltest :p
2. I saw on the news that if they do merge they are going to call it Delta still, I think that is lame. They should go by: Deltesta or Westelta I thought of those on the spot! HA HA

4. I personally enjoyed the services of both Delta and Northwest. See, it's good for me because they have good flights, good for them because alot of their routes don't overlap. A good name? How about We Aren't Going to Go Bankrupt Airlines.
5. Yes people are predicting that airfare will go up. Speculation is that United and Continental will merge and that American, not wanting to be left out may try to go after Alaska Airlines. However United has always been searching for a merger partner. That is public knowledge. I like Deltest even though the name Delta will be kept and the headquarters remain in Atlanta, GA.
