which airline is next to go belly up?
I am thinking Airtran (fares too low) or Northwest (gotta be bleeding $, need Delta to save them NOW!) what do you think?

- ExpressJet Virgin America Frontier Myrtle beach Direct Air
- Northwest Frontier USA 3000
- USA 3000 for sure they are the worst airline...next to southwest (one of the worst)
- No way AirTran will go out of business. Yes, their fares are low but their cost structure is low also. They don't pay their workers very high wages in general compared to other airlines. They don't have their pay scale for Customer Service Agents (ticket and gate agents) on their website anymore. But a few years ago when they did I looked at it and what I was making then as a gate agent with around 5-6 years of service for one of their competitors, I would have had to have worked for AirTran for over 10 years to make the same amount. But to answer your question I would rather not think like that, like you're just waiting for another airline to fail. You ought to be ashamed of yourself to be expecting an airline to go "belly up" in your words. Behind the corporate name are hard working people who for the most part enjoy what they do.
- A good way to get an idea about who is next to go is to look at the pilots pay scales and how many hours a month they are required to work. Fuel is pretty much the same for all airlines now, the biggest factor is the size and type of planes and the pay scales. Pilots are the largest factor between the airlines.
- Northwest... I dont see going out. USA3000 is the absolutle worst airline I have ever flown.
