- I have flown lots. I have had lots of good experiences with AA. Delta wasn't so bad, except that they put a REALLY fat man next to me and I was squished against the window for 6 hours from Dallas to Raleigh.
- I would say that Delta would be the best. My best domestic experience was on US Air - when I was flying from PHX to BOS, the plane left on time, i had my own row, and it arrived a half hour early. My worst was when I was flying United from BOS to LAX - the plane left 45 minutes late and by the time it arrived - it was 1 and 1/2 hours late!
- Although any one crew can have a bad day, Continental is your best bet. Delta is second. AA is a freaking nightmare. I used to work for 3 airlines.
- Continental fly from Newark on this route, not from LaGuardia. Of the other 3, I'd choose JetBlue because they've got a little extra knee room (32" , vs. 31" the other airlines), and live DirecTV at each seat to help pass the time. http://www.jetblue.com
- Any of those are okay, I usually fly American or Continental of the ones you mentioned though. Delta is probably the worst of the ones you mentioned. JetBlue has TV screens at every seat, although Delta does on some of their aircraft too. Not that TV screens should be a deciding factor, hopefully you can live during a 2 and a half hour flight without that. Also, if you're flying nonstop, Continental more than likely will fly into Newark - that's their big hub. But they're probably the best of the airlines you mentioned. Actually they're the best US airline period.
