Delta Fares

What's the best way to fly from NYC to Melbourne,FL?

What's the best way to fly from NYC to Melbourne,FL? I see that Delta offers a decent fare but you have to connect in Altanta and fly in an old DC (MD88)? I'm wondering if there is better way to do this? Would it be worth it to fly to Orlando and drive an hour? Just out of curiosity is there anything wrong with MD-88's. What is their safety record?

  1. Flying to Orlando is often a lot less money and non stop. Yes. It is worth flying there.
  2. Check out Southwest.com & jetblue.com This is how i get back and forth from Tampa and NYC
  3. fly into standard fl.or something like that I'm sure but its about half the cost of flying into Mel its self
  4. Because Melbourne FL Regional Airport is a smaller airport, there are no non-stops from NYC to Melbourne, FL. TRAVEL WITH STEPHEN offers direct flights from NYC to Orlando, FL for lower rates than what the DELTA website offers. If you need car rental from Orlando, they offer that as well, at very reasonable daily/weekly rates. Also--if you want something customized, they have a convenient toll-free number to contact them.
  5. Most flight will take you to Orlando Airport. And yes, fly and drive maybe your best.. Sometimes when you try to save money, such as cost of rental car, it can cost you more in the end. Add the cost of flight to Orlando ($223.00), car rental and gas to the Delta flight with Atlanta stop and see which is less. If you have a flight that stop in Atlanta and it cost less, just take a book and read during the stop over period. My book not publish so I can not send you a copy of that to read. I learn a lot reading at airports.
  6. Hi, not totally sure, but I'd try Jet Blue Airlines, they usually have good rates! TollFree, 800-538-2583.
