FIRST VACATION , THINKING CANCUN !!!! PLEASE HELPPP CONFUSED!!! thanks?

Okay so i am trying to plan a trip to Cancun next may around this time maybe even in june. Ive never been on vacation before so i am very new at this..... I am probably going to use delta airlines or jetblue dont really know yet, but i am kinda struggling with the hotel that i should choose and stuff like that. I want to stay on the beach for the whole week , drink and have fun with my boyfriend because thats who i am going with. So i want a hotel that has a lot of amenties etc... Bars that are on the beach etc .... stuff like that. I am 23 years old just to let you know just in case you were wondering. I want to know prices etc... i was thinking the grand oasis hotel but im really not sure on what hotel or anything please please help. Not that hard of a question.
