Is a domestic first class ticket worth it?

I have booked 2 first class tickets with Delta for a vacation in Vegas with my wife (we got married last year and this is our first Vegas trip together). I am wondering if the first class tickets are worth it. I have been researching online about the Boeing 767-300 aircraft that is in service from ATL (Atlanta) to LAS (Las Vegas) but haven't seen anything that answers my question. Thanks!

I personally believe that anything over three hours is worth it. It is especially worth the money for trips to Las Vegas, where 98 percent of the passengers are tourists, and many of these are children =]
If you have millions of dollars lying around it might be worth it. Otherwise, no way!

The reason you can't find anything is that is not worth it. Most would not even ask. ATL to Vegas is a short flight. So first class will not really give you any perks and is kind of a waste as you will get there just like the rest on the plane. I fly all of the time and can afford whatever and I know it is still a waste on such a short flight. Sure sometimes paying extra or using miles when taking your wife on that special trip can be nice..... but that is for international trips. Even then backing down to business can actually be better and more comfortable. You have to ask yourself. Is that tad extra bit of service in first class worth say the $1000 extra? Or do you take a cheaper flight and spend the money on a super top shelf restaurant and have a very romantic evening once in Vegas?
If you really need the space and can afford to pay for it, then go ahead. Otherwise I would say it is not worth it. If you fly on a 767, the seating is 2-3-2. Therefore you and your wife can sit together without having a third person. But since you already booked the tickets, enjoy the flight. The seats are nicer and you have more room.
