Question ? Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Alumni Chapter NY?

Hello. I've been an interest in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated for quite sometime. I have studied and researched the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated information for about 2 years and I have my personal reasons and beliefs on why I chose this organization. I have obtain my bachelors degree with an above 3.0 GPA average. I am also an active member with the church and neighboring community out in Brooklyn, and have several other dedications I participate in my daily life. My question to you is how I can participate in any programs or events at the Alumni Chapter’s in NY. I’ve called the Chapter’s President every day and expressed my interest and sent several emails, but never got any feedback. I will never give up my pursuit. I know that my missing link is not knowing or having a friend as a member of the sorority, but is that really the only way I can attend events or membership informational?
