Which Airline Credit Card offers the best rewards Miles Program?

Hi. I currently have the Delta Gold American Express card. And being in Los Angeles, I noticed Delta isn't the best airline to book out of LAX. So want to switch to another card. I was looking at both The CONTINENTAL Airlines One Pass Mastercard. And the new VIRGIN ATLANTIC American Express. Does anyone have these cards to tell me about their experience? I spend about $3000 a month with my card. Paying it off completely each month, fyi.
