How soon should I arrive at SFO airport- Delta airline, no bag check in, ticket already printed?
I have been to SFO numerous times internationally, but not domestic. How long should I arrive before the flight if I'm traveling on Delta with carry-on only, and have my ticket with me? I'll just be going through security, but know that the lines are longer now. THANKS for serious answers.

- Though it will depend on the time of day and day of the week you're flying, I'd likely allow somewhere between 60 and 90 minutes to get through security and get to your gate. (In a larger airport such as SFO, I'd likely go more towards the 90 minutes, especially if the flight is during a peak period.)
- For non-holiday, I would get there 45 minutes before departure. But I give lots extra time for freeway traffic. If no traffic then I get to the airport earlier. That's just me.
- I'd say an an hour and 15 minutes before. Have a nice try!
- You never know how long the security checkpoint line will be until you get there. It's better to be a little early than a little late, which can prove to be very inconvenient and costly if you miss your flight. 90 minutes should be more than enough time, it's better to sit around the airport for a a few minutes and be early, than to have to wait hours and possibly pay expensive rescheduling fees by cutting it too close and missing your flight.
- 1 hour thru the terminal door is plenty, if you checked in online
- The latest check in time for a domestic flight is 30 minutes. I would therefore arrive at least 45 minutes in advance to allow for queues.
