Can a seventeen year-old fly on Delta Air Lines?

I am leaving for college this fall and I won't be seventeen until October. I am planning to fly alone and was wondering if Delta Air Lines has any rules regarding that. I can buy my tickets online but I'm just wondering what their policy is on this.

Unlike what one of the other answerers guessed, you actually CAN travel internationally, too, as long as you have the required documentation (passport). You may certainly travel unrestricted on Delta, if you're 17.

11. Yes, you will be perfectly fine. As long as you are over 15 you can travel anywhere in the world with them on your own without unaccompanied minor service. The only reason they have such restrictions for people under 15 is because if a plane got cancelled or such event, they would have issues booking a hotel room for the night for someone under 18. But since you are 17 you are responsible for yourself and are free to do whatever you wish with their services. Have fun!
