How big can by carrier be for a plane?
I have a Chihuahua and I plan on traveling with her with Delta airlines. I have already made reservations for her to be in cabin with me. The clerk failed to provide me with a height/width/length limit for my carrie and I was wondering if anyone has done this and has an idea of what to get. I keep trying to call again but I keep getting the busy tone. Thank you : )

- A small one would probably just be fine. Enough room for her to play with some toys, eat, drink and sleep. As long as it fits her, because since Chihuahua's are small dogs, they don't need much. Like I said before, just a smallish-medium one would work. [:
- Go with the smallest one you can find. It is hard to get a small sized cage under the seats so try to get an extra small cage. Maybe have her on sleeping pills at least an hour before you leave for the airport and at least for an hour after you land just so she won't be stressed out by the noise or the small cage. You can talk to your veterinarian about the sleeping pills :) Hope I helped you out!
- Check their website. Most have a section on travelling with pets. It should have the measurements for a carrier that fits under the seat. Some airlines only allow soft carriers in the cabin, while other will allow hard ones too. If you can't find the measurements in the pet area, try the carry on luggage part. There should be measurements for the under seat part
