Can't get through to Delta on the phone, what do they expect you to do?

So I'm trying to get a hold of Delta reservations on the phone so I can change my flights. I need to talk to them because I have a medical emergency scenario. What do they expect me to do?

1. Try waiting to call until late at night - you'll have a better chance to change things then. Just remember that these are weather related delays and they don't know when the conditions will lift to allow flights again - I'm watching carefully too because I'm supposed to be flying to Europe in a week!

3. You might also try to change your reservations one line. Go to the Delta website (delta.com) and select "Itinerary and Check in" on the left side of the screen. Once you find your reservation, you should be able to change it. Good Luck
4. If you call the 1-800-221-1212 number you should be able to talk to someone in reservations who can help you. There may be long wait but be patient, you should get through to someone.
