Delta Fares

What is there to do in New York, New York in July 2010?

I might be going to New York for a summer vacation, and I want a list of stuff to do. And should I fly with Southwest, American, or Delta? Southwest has the lowest fares though. BTW we would be flying out of Omaha, NE. Thanks
