EASY 10 POINTS: Confused about the Northwest Airlines and Delta Airlines merger; please help?
According to the Delta and Northwest merger FAQ's, it states that if your itinerary says "Operated by Delta Air Lines," then you check in with Delta. On my itinerary, it states "Operated by Delta Air Lines". But when I checked my itinerary on nwa.com, it said "Note: Check in with Northwest." Who should I check in with?

- It's always best to follow the instructions. In your case, the instructions are: - "heck in with the operating airline" - but that instruction is superseded by "Check in with NWA" Its even more frustrating with code shares. I had booked a flight on US Air that was a code-share with United. My flight was clearly US Air - but it wasn't until I got to the airport and tried to check in with US Air that I learned that it was really a United flight and that I needed to check in with United. United and US Air are on opposite sides of LAX. I couldn't find any in-airport shuttle, so the choices appeared to be 1. take the shuttle back to the hotel, turn around, and then go back to the airport. 2. hike across the parking lot and up two flights of stairs.
