Do u think Delta Air Lines is going to disappear?

Since there been talks about strikes after April 17.

1. Large corporations don't just disappear because of a strike. They may cancel some flights, but they will probably hire temporary workers while the strike is happening, if it happens.
2. A strike could come close to finishing them since they are still in backcruptcy. Horrible airline and have treated their staff like crap.
3. yes, I am almost 100% certain they will, they have bad leaders in teh company and they have bad flights. Even their international flights that they said are going to bring them out of brankrupcy are becoming sluggish.
4. honestly i don't think so...im flight training with DCA..and from what i can tell Delta wont go under...the management of a corporation that large isn't THAT stupid (although i wont give them credit for being smart either)...their threats to the pilots in my opinion are all talk...but Delta deserves whatever happens...they've taken so much money from the pilots /mechanics/flight attendants...but have yet to touch the higher ups MILLION dollar salaries...you'll most likely see Delta sell off some subsidiaries and come quickly to terms with a contract with the pilots
5. Hopefully they'll go under and drag Northwest with them. Between those two companies, thousands of mechanics have had to reconstruct their lives time after time. Once the code shares started, we all saw the writing on the wall. First they replaced many of the workers with "Convenient Kiosks". Then, they used third party employees to work areas with less traffic. Finally, the ol' SCABS. Let Delta fold under...let them ALL fold under.
6. yes. with the crappy custormer servie and bad attitude that Delta has had for the last 23 years. I would love to see them go out of business. I am from Atlanta where Delta's hub is and they suck at customer appreciation. But the federal government will bail them out, just like it helped New York State in the mid 1980's.
