How things go between Delta Air Lines and Northwest Airlines pilots?

Do Delta pilots now need to learn to fly the 747, 330, A320 and other NW aircrafts as do Northwest pilots now need to learn to fly the 737, 767, 777 and other DL aircrafts following their merge?
