Delta Fares

ok another lovely travel question. I have a friend who is traveling to vegas with us as a group....?

She is 400 plus pounds and had to cancel her reservations for united because of there too fat to fly policy. This is a sensitive area so if u have negative feed back don't bother but are there any airlines who don't have this policy?

  1. Actually they just stated to impose this policy. So I am, sure sevaral airlines dont have it yet. Try Delta. They based out of Atlanta and if they banned fat people they would banning half their customers lol. By the way, i dont intend this to be rude, but that rule is put into place not only for people sitting next to the large person, but also for the saftey of the overwight person themselves.
  2. You don't say where you are flying out of, or how you are booking your flights. Individually? As a group? You may need to visit a travel agent or talk to whomever is handling your reservations. When you go to book on Orbitz or Expedia, they will show all the flights available and the carrier, but you don't know if they will switch your flight before you leave. My flights have changed four times in the last couple months since I booked my vacation. If you use an online agent, make sure you call and use the 800 number for booking, then ask your question to them. Good Luck and hope you have fun there!
