What is the biggest size suit case you bring on Delta flight.?

WE are flying to see grandma in ohio. All three of us are flying Delta. They charge for bags so we will use the biggest suit case we can that is legal to check in. What is the size. We will also use carry ons.

this website will tell you everything you need to know: http://www.delta.com/traveling_checkin/baggage/baggage_allowance/index.jsp no guesses or assumptions- this is what you'll need to follow. be careful becuase they charge for overweight bags and for oversized bags (on top of the normal charges). your best bet is to bring a small suitcase (each of you) and a backpack for your carry ons. put your purse inside the bags, since they count as a carryon bag. then share suitcases all at the highest weight for each person at $15 a piece. since a 2nd checked bag cost $50 you'd be better off having 3 people check 3 bags than one person checking more than 1 bag
