Question about Delta flights?
I'm flying from SEA to ATL on Delta. On Expedia, the flight that I'm taking says I'm flying on a B767-300. Then I went on Seatguru, and said the B767-300 has personal tvs. then i went to Delta.com and saw the seatmap of my flight. It matches exactly the B767-300 on seatguru, but on Delta it says its a B767-400, and has no personal tvs. but it was the exact same seatmap as the B767-300 on seatguru, which said it has personal tvs. I also asked a delta representative on that LiveChat thing (which could very well be a robot) and they said they didn't have any on the flight, but like i dont get it cuz the map matches with the B767-300 on seatguru, and says we have personal tvs. What do you think? Sorry this sounded confusing :)

- 767-300 definitely does not have personal TV's. I took one long haul to Paris in February and we had the screen in the front. I think the 764's do have them because they are newer and used on longer flights- although I don't know who deemed US > CDG to be a short flight. At least it's only 5.5 hours to ATL so it won't be so bad.
- The seatguru.com seat map could be lagging because it sounds like DL just changed the equipment to a 400 series for whatever reason. Did you count the rows on the plane? The big difference with their 300 and 400's are the number of seats in the coach section. There's a few more rows. They are in the process of updating all of their fleet types to have TV's. Check out this link: http://www.airliners.net/photo/Delta-Air-Lines/Boeing-767-432-ER/1415014/L/&sid=e3d7bd5db47880e5e3feb1e44f6fb24e It's a cabin shot of a DL 767-400 series in-flight. I've personally flown on a 400 without the tv's, but I know a lot of people in Delta, and they are trying to modernize their long haul fleet to become more competitive with the foreign carriers that have top notch inflight entertainment systems.
- I frequently fly from BOS to LAX, 6 hour flights, and I have never seen a TV, you need to have something to do!
- Tim is completely right. The 300 and 400 are two different series of air-crafts. The 400 holds more passengers and cargo, however, I wouldn't be able to tell you if your aircraft will have tvs in the headrests or not. We are also currently updating our US mainline fleet to have wifi, we've done 60%+ to date.
