what are the baggage regulations for delta airlines flights leaving from London gatwick?
The website was useless as it only gabbed on about yankee flights.

- As of last December, you were allowed two checked bags of not more than 50 pounds (22 kilos) each. Bags up to 70 pounds (31 kilos) are allowed but you have to pay an "overweight" fee. Call Delta to make sure the "2 checked bags" rule for international flights has not changed, but I don't think it has. I went from Washington to Frankfurt in March and it was still "2 checked bags". You can take one "carry-on bag" plus an additional bag (ex. purse or laptop) on board with you. All liquids & gels in containers over 3 ounces and anything that might even LOOK like a weapon (nail file, scissors, etc.) should go in your checked bag. Go to www.tsa.gov for more info on prohibited items. Hope that helps.
