  1. Shirt/blouse, pants, shoes. I've even seen pajamas in 1st class but then again it was a child that was wearing the them.
  2. Anything is acceptable. You can wear whatever you wish to wear. Jeans is perfectly fine. A lot of business people fly business class obviously and wear the business attire but, trust me, a lot of people don't as well
  3. You must wear clothing that covers your private parts. Not bathing suits or underwear. Jeans are fine.
  4. Wear whatever you want, there is no dress code or requirement. Just dress comfortably, you see many people dress in business attire and some people in jogging suits when flying business class. People generally dress a little nicer than in economy class, but it's totally up to you.
  5. You can wear whatever you want. You have the ticket, they will allow you to fly. I've worn pyjamas and a track suit in First Class with New Zealand Air & Thai Airways, and they still treated me with respect and total friendliness. The only reason most people seem dressed up in Business Class is because they are actually on a business trip and probably have to rush to a meeting as soon as they land.
  6. Jackets and ties are not required in any class of service Jeans and other denim clothing are acceptable in the Economy cabin provided they are clean and neat and do not have patches or holes Athletic and tennis shoes are acceptable in the Economy cabin provided they are clean Loose fitting knee-length Bermuda shorts are acceptable in the Economy cabin on flights within the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico Dress sandals are permitted in all classes Unacceptable attire in First and Business class: Jeans and other denim clothing Athletic and tennis shoes Hiking or military style shoes and boots Shorts Baseball caps Skin-tight or form fitting pants except when worn with a mid thigh length top Any item in the Unacceptable attire in all classes list Unacceptable attire in all classes: Any clothing that is worn, torn, frayed has patches or holes Sweat clothing or workout attire such as sweat shirt, sweat pants, leotards, tights and jogging suits T-shirts Bare feet Bathing suits Beach sandals flip flops and thongs Bare midriffs Extreme mini-skirts Halter and bra tops Sheer or see-through clothing Tank tops, sleeveless or muscle shirts Undergarments worn as outer garments Children: The dress code policy applies to all employees and other entitled travelers including children 12 years of age and over. Children under the age of 12 must be clean and neatly attired.
  7. Yes, jeans will be OK, though the equivalent of a polo shirt and khaki trousers would be better. The airline won't refuse to allow you on board unless you are literally indecently dressed or if you refuse to wear shoes. Note that BC passengers can use Delta Crown Rooms (plus the BusinessElite lounges for interational flights) and the clubs may decline to admit someone who is really shabbily dressed. It's not different than dressing for a medium-nice restaurant (where jacket & tie are not required).
  8. if you have a full-fare ticket: as long as you are covering the relevant bits! If it wouldn't get you arrested in the terminal, it's probably fine on the plane (though I would refrain from wearing t-shirts with offensive slogans, etc....but then I wouldn't wear such off the plane, either) Jeans are fine. Employees have to follow a dress code, but it's been mightily relaxed from what it used to be. If you saw people in dress shirts & ties, or dress & pantyhose, waiting for a plane in the Caribbean....you could pick out the non-revs!
