How does everyone feel about the lawyer suing Delta for ruining his vacation? An attorney is suing Delta airlines for $1 million due to negligence and disrespect. I personally believe in a sue happy world we live in this should be commonplace and the airlines should be held responsible for their lack of customer service.

How can I improve my chances of being able to use frequent flier air miles for our trip to Europe next year? We were told you can only book 331 days ahead at most, and we wanted to use our frequent flier air miles for a European vacation next year. Delta told us we should make the entire round-trip booking 331 days in advance of our return date. We would like to fly Delta, and depart end-May '08 for France (or close to that), returning on July 23, 2008 to Cincinnati from either Stockholm or Copenhagen. 331 days from July 23, 2008 is next Monday August 27. I checked with Delta yesterday and they said they have no spots available for frequent fliers (50,000 miles awards) from Cincinnati to France from mid-May through Mid-June of next year. What can I do to increase our chances of being able to use our air miles for these round-trip flights - anything? Fly to another destination within Europe? Check with Delta's partners? Trying to find out which airline has the most seating room United Airlines or Delta? I have a disability where I am unable to bend my left knee. My knee is fused with a metal plate. I can sit in the front seat of a car/drive a car but not the back... Therefor traveling via airplane is a little on the difficult side. I know I can not sit on Delta planes. At least I couldn't sit in just one seat on the last Delta I attempted to fly on. I do well with American Airline planes though some seats are better than others. I do well in Exit lanes except that they don't normally let me sit in them because they need able bodied people sitting in them, just in case. I realize I would probably do fine in Business or First Class but I can't afford to fly either. I am planning a trip to Italy in June and it's a very very long flight. I am trying to go with Virgin Vacations but the only Airline's they are offering me are Delta and United. Should we fly first class on our flight from New York to San Francisco? I am planning a big California vacation for next August, and they released airfare for the dates we are traveling. We are going from JFK to SFO, driving down the coast, and returning LAX to JFK. We would like to use airline miles and have three options: Delta Coach or First (going there is a 737 which might not have TVs, which could bore the kids) or United Economy Plus on the Premium Service planes. United has no seatback TVs, just more legroom, while Delta might be updating only First Class by adding TVs----Coach is questionable. Which of the three do you recommend? Tipping in Delta Crown Rooms? A buddy of mine has access to the Delta Crown Rooms and we both went into several them on our last vacation. I ordered a beer which are complimentary in these Delta lounges, (all alcoholic beverages are complimentary) and I always put out 1 or 2$ tip as you would with any bar tender. I couldn't help but notice that more then half the people getting their drinks weren't leaving anything? Is there some rule of conduct in Delta Crown Rooms that your not suppose to tip the bar tenders or are these people just flat out cheap? It was typically men in business suits who did not tip? Delta/NWA flight change - Stranded in Tokyo (maybe)? I am a bit confused as to what I should do about this. My vacation to Kyoto Japan was scheduled for August 15-23rd. My flight schedule was MIA (5:45AM) - ATL (8:00 AM), ATL (12 NOON) - NRT (1:30 PM). I was perfectly happy with the schedule but then they changed it without even alerting me and it's a good thing i check periodically. I wouldnt leave Atlanta until 2:30 in the afternoon then I would arrive at Tokyo Narita Airport at 5:00 pm. This is a big problem for me because 1) I will be sitting in Atlanta for 6 hours and 2) I arrive in Japan way too late since I need to travel to Kyoto and public transportation (as far as I know) in Japan closes at 8pm. Assuming I clear customs in 1 hour it would take me at LEAST 4 hours to get to Kyoto via the bullet train. I will be then stuck in Kyoto station. I could probably take a taxi to the hotel from there but it is very expensive. Is there any way I can complain to Delta that arriving in Japan that late would be problematic for not only me but probably everyone on the flight? Or at least so i'm not stuck in Atlanta for 6 hours. I think it is very unfair. They had also changed my plane from a Boeing 777 to a 747 so now I cant even use my laptop on a 14 hour flight. I am very upset. If anything could be done about it should I wait until the flight date gets closer in case it changes again? This is rediculous how you can spend $1000+ on a plane ticket only for them to fiddle around with the schedule however they want. What can I do? Any help would be greaty appreciated. Thank you.

Short Layover with Delta Airlines 39 min!? I am traveling to see a friend of mine out in Utah. Delta seems to have the cheapest airfares, but the layovers are 39 minutes! It's the same airline there and back, but I'm a little concerned. Is 39 minutes long enough to make a connecting flight if I'm using the same airline? I work in Pawtucket RI, If the company I work for decide to closed on a regular "work day" should they pay me? Packaging Graphics on 60 Delta Drive, Pawtucket RI decided that they will close their doors on December 31...I don't think is legal to send us (the employee) home without pay if they decided on their own to close for that day. I know they have that equation, but I don't understand why entropy increases when enthalpy decreases or why free energy being negative is necessary for a process to occur spontaneously.... 2.) What exactly is spontaneity? Entropy? And what does Delta G have to do with it? 3.) If I was given a set of conditions, how would I find if the entropy was increasing or decreasing? 4.) What is the best hotel pool in Halifax? I booked a room at the Four Points, just for the sake of having a room booked. It is refundable, so I will change, if decided. I've stayed at the Westin two times now, the Delta Barrington (in a Club room), and my first trip was just basic, staying at the Residence Inn. I never visited the pool at the Residence Inn, but I can't imagine that it would be the best, or even among the best in the city. The Delta Barrington had a pool that was pretty disgusting to us, to be honest. The pool liner was greenish and slimy, just like the water was slimy as well. The Westin has a really nice pool area, and the whirlpool is pretty good. Anyway, I'll be staying there for eight days with my partner, and in our past vacations, we've loved a good pool to go swim in. I was considering the Westin again, but I found it so much easier to be right in the heart of downtown, like closer to Spring Garden Road. I find it a pain to only be able to take the #7 bus to go somewhere from the Westin, especially if it's raining out. So this time, I was considering staying at the Four Points, Radisson, Courtyard, and the Delta Halifax. I've had great experiences with the pool at the Delta hotels in Moncton and Fredericton, so I'm willing to give the Delta Halifax a shot as well.

Airline changed Itinerary for 5-people vacation. Was 5 hr nonstop, now 10 hr w/stop. Not happy. What options? I specifically purchased non-stop cross-country tickets for our family two months ago.
