Paying on my American Express gold delta skymiles? I plan on using this card for everything and paying the bill when at the end of the month. I also transfered some credit card balances to my amex. I think if I send payments to amex everytime I use the card they will apply the monies to my transfered balance and not my monthly charges. So even though i send money several times amonth I will still have a large payment at the end of the month beacuse the money that ive been sending is being applied to the larger balance that im carrrying w/ the transfers. My solution unless someone knows a better one is to get the cash out each time i use the card and then send the lump sum at the end of the month to pay off the monthly staement
American Express: Gold Delta Sky Miles or Blue? Which would you suggest and why? I like BLUE because there are rewards and No Annual Fee. I like Gold delta skymiles because I love to travel, and I would really love to have discounted airfaire. There is a $95 annual fee for that card though. Does Blue give sky miles as a reward? Does anybody have either or? Can you tell me some of the rewards? I'll appreciate any feed back, thanks much!
25 000 Delta Skymiles for FREE! I saw on a certain blog that has advertised that you can get 25 000 Delta skyiles for free when approved to a particular credit card. What do do you think? Is it true? Are there any gimmicks involved? Please share your opinion, thank you. http://wisedeals.blogspot.com/2008/07/hot-get-25-000-delta-skymiles-with-gold.html
Will Delta Skymiles honor KLM V class miles flown after the merge with Northwest Worldperks? (I am a WP Gold member, have already booked a flight in KLM V class and am concerned the miles won't be honored as Worldperks will soon be absorbed by Skymiles) Thanks for taking the time to answer! NWA has finally updated their website. As luck would have it, Skymiles has made some adjustments to their award program: http://skymilesoffers.delta.com/airline_partners.php
Will I be able to get any american express card? Hey everyone, I have a 715 EXP and am thinking of applying for an AMEX card. I want to obtain an AMEX Blue card, but am not sure if I'll actually be approved. Should I apply for the Delta Gold Skymiles card instead? I don't want a charge card... at all. Thanks for your help.
Delta giving 20,000 miles for applying for their credit card? So apparently if I apply for the delta gold credit card and make a purchase with it, Delta will award me with 20,000 sky miles. The first year's annual fee is waived/ So I was wondering, is it possible to apply for the card, make a purchase, receive the 20,000 miles on my skymiles account and then cancel the card within a year and still retain the miles?

My parents are trying to decide which credit card to switch to from the old Visa NWA WorldPerks card? They got two envelopes in the mail, one for the AmEx Delta Gold SkyMiles card, and the other for the Visa FlexPerks card. They both had a Visa WorldPerks card from Northwest Airlines but now I guess they have to switch. Both cards have an annual fee, $95 for the Delta card (even though its waived for the first year), and $49 annually for the FlexPerks card if you spend $24,000 that year. They're also having a problem because on their WorldPerks they have 65,000 points that will be forfeited if they take the Visa, or carried over if they get the AmEx. I don't think they are willing to travel or anything to spend it but they would like to know what they should do. What could be considered a better deal (I hear Visa cards are more accepted than American Express so wouldn't it be easier to get more points on the Visa?) If anyone can answer these questions it would be great. Thanks.
